Turn into the business park and then take the first left into Canvin Court, keep driving (or walking about 50m) and we are the building on the left.
Parking is free. You can park in any of the parking spaces around our building or in the middle of Canvin Court. Please be respectful of the other businesses in Canvin Court and please don’t park outside their premises or in their allocated spaces.
Our play sessions require parents or carers to be present and responsible for the care of their child/children throughout the duration of the play session. Booking through our website in advance is highly recommended to ensure you have a space. Tinker has been designed for babies and toddlers to play and explore. It is divided into two sections but your ticket covers access to both sections.
Tinker in Comfort is designed for 0-4 year olds, whilst Tinker in the Wild is from roughly 18 months – 4 years of age. Your child must be a confident walker to explore Tinker in the Wild and parents/carers must be aware that there are small parts in the activities set up in Tinker in the Wild. Children are welcome to move between the Tinker in the Wild and Tinker in Comfort zones however we ask that wellies and wet puddle suits be removed when entering the cosy carpeted area of Tinker in Comfort.
We strongly recommend wearing a puddle suit or waterproofs and wellies when playing in Tinker in the Wild as five of the stations involve water play. If your child decides they then want to play in Tinker in Comfort, we ask that they remove wellies and wet puddle suits. Woodchip covers the floor so even in summer your child will require some shoes whilst playing in Tinker in the Wild.
We are understanding of children who have a real dislike of puddlesuits. Our advise is to wear waterproof clothing however if your child is happy to change his/her clothes when leaving Tinker in the Wild you are welcome to do so.
Sounds like it should be doesn’t it? No, Tinker in the Wild is inside. It has elements to give it the feel of being outside with the woodchip floor and water play.
You shouldn’t do. But I guess it depends how close you stand to your child at the waterplay stations?! There is not an excessive amount of water at the waterplay stations so it would be unfortunate and unlikely if you got wet.
Of course! If you have a sibling playing in Tinker in the Wild, it is completely understandable that you may want or need to venture into Tinker in the Wild with your baby. Tinker in the Wild is not designed for babies but we understand that your toddler is most likely going to want to spend a lot of time in this area. You can either carry your baby during your time in Tinker in the Wild or put him or her in one of the little Bumbo style seats we have set up. You’ll find a little goody bag of things to keep your baby entertained whilst you give your toddler some love and attention.
Most definitely. We have a mini toilet seat, a potty and a baby change set up.
We serve tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cake.
Visit our Party page for all the information you’ll need.
Sadly not at this time. Our business is so young, we want to be able to try out new events and different sessions. If we offered a membership we would feel like we were unable to make changes and revisions to our schedule.
Tinker has been designed for 0-4 year olds so for the majority of our sessions we do not allow older siblings. During school holidays and occasionally at weekends we run some 0 - 6 year old sessions. Check out our booking page for all the details: Book here
